Ah camping, how I love thee...

And so it would seem, does Leo. Yes darling, that's a leaf.

There's not much going on here at Chez Leo other than sewing sewing sewing.
With a little bit of sunny balcony bathtime thrown in to the mix.

Happy first day of summer to those of us down here in the Southern hemisphere.  To celebrate, we are going camping this weekend - one of my favourite activities in the world, and one which has been rather missed lately.

This is me - well, my belly - one year ago exactly, camping and counting down the weeks till baby's arrival. Will be lovely to go again, this time with the little tyke joining us on the outside!

My sister and her partner are co-owners of a fabulous property in country Victoria. They decided a while ago to host a little party/festival over the Easter weekend, complete with bands, meals, camping, beach time - Leo's first toes in the ocean - and lots of entertaining extras. We took Leo along for his first camping experience (although we ended up taking advantage of an extra room in the house) and we all had a ball. I had trouble leaving to come back to the big city and am already missing the fresh air, simple living and wide open spaces...

* just spent an awesome weekend with great friends at a folk festival in the bush. Much time was spent hanging around in hammocks and cooling ourselves in the newly swollen river.
* and today is a monday and I am not on my way to work. Here begins a year's worth of hanging at home with my bubba. There's an obvious lack of baby at this stage, but a to do list a mile long (which includes much putting up of feet, watching of test cricket (yes, I know), crafting and nesting and general domesticity!)
